Organizations are investing heavily in AI. New tools are being deployed, workflows redesigned, pilots launched and employees encouraged to experiment.
But adoption is not the same as success.
The AI Success Audit™ helps Boards and executives determine whether AI is creating demonstrable organizational value, where that value is being created or lost, and whether the organization has the governance, management systems and human judgment required to use AI effectively.
The objective is not simply to ask whether AI works.
It is to answer a more important question: Is AI making the organization better?
AI Is More Than a Technology Investment
AI is often approached as a technology acquisition or implementation challenge. Its organizational consequences are much broader.
AI can change how information is produced and interpreted, how work is performed, where decisions are made, which capabilities remain important, how authority is exercised, and where accountability ultimately resides.
An AI implementation can therefore be technically successful while producing disappointing organizational results.
The AI Success Audit™ examines AI as a change to the organization's decision and operating system. It considers whether AI is improving decisions and performance while preserving accountable human judgment, appropriate governance and stakeholder legitimacy.
What the Audit Examines
The AI Success Audit™ assesses AI through four interconnected questions.
Is AI creating demonstrable value?
Are AI investments producing meaningful improvements in productivity, decision quality, customer or stakeholder outcomes, innovation, cost, revenue or other measures that matter to the organization?
Is human judgment appropriately designed into the system?
Is it clear where AI informs, recommends, automates or influences decisions, and where accountable human judgment must remain?
Is AI appropriately governed?
Do the Board and management understand their respective responsibilities, and are decision rights, accountability, risk oversight and escalation mechanisms appropriate to how AI is actually being used?
Can the organization adapt as AI evolves?
Does the organization have the capabilities, information, learning mechanisms and management discipline required to respond as technologies, risks and opportunities change?
What the Client Receives
The AI Success Audit™ provides an independent assessment of where AI is creating value, where expected value is not being realized, and where governance, management or decision-system weaknesses may be limiting performance or creating unnecessary exposure.
The engagement identifies priorities for action rather than producing another generic AI maturity score.
Depending on scope, deliverables can include an executive and Board-level assessment, findings and evidence, identification of value gaps and governance weaknesses, prioritized recommendations, and a practical roadmap for improving AI effectiveness.
The result is greater clarity about where to invest, where to intervene, what to govern and what needs to change.
AI Success Audit™ for the C-Suite
Designed for CEOs and executive teams seeking to determine whether AI investments are producing measurable organizational value and whether workflows, decision rights, capabilities and management systems are evolving appropriately.
The emphasis is on value realization, organizational performance and accountable implementation.
AI Success Audit™ for Boards
Designed for Boards seeking independent insight into whether the organization is governing AI appropriately and whether management can demonstrate that AI investment is producing value.
The emphasis is on oversight, decision quality, accountability, risk and the evidence the Board should expect from management.
The Board governs the conditions under which AI may operate. Management designs and operates within those conditions.
Investment
AI Success Audit™ engagements start at CAD $35,000.
Final fees depend on organizational scale, the number and complexity of AI applications being examined, the depth of diagnostic work required, stakeholder interviews, documentation and data analysis, and the extent of Board and executive engagement.
Larger or more complex enterprise engagements are scoped and priced separately.
The Question
The question is no longer whether your organization is using AI. It is whether AI is producing enough value to justify the investment, while improving rather than weakening organizational judgment.
The AI Success Audit™ provides Boards and executives with the evidence needed to answer that question and decide what should happen next.
